Science-rejecting creationism and faith-rejecting atheism are not the only games in town. Tens of millions in the middle, represented by the amazing diversity of thought leaders who participated in this historic teleseries, see no conflict between faith and reason, heart and head, Jesus and Darwin. For us, religious faith and spiritual practice can be strengthened and deepened by what God is revealing through science.
Evolutionary Christianity points to those who value evidence, in a very real sense, as “divine communication”. Whatever our differences, we all have deep-time eyes and a global heart—that is, we are all enriched by the evolutionary history of the universe and we are all committed to a just and healthy future for humanity and the larger body of life.
Below is our list of 38 speakers from diverse backgrounds who all share this perspective. As you can see, there’s more than one way to be a Christian evolutionary!
